Beginners (Assim é o Amor) é um filme honesto, melancolico, tocante, duro, sensivel, terno, otimista e outros adjetivos que tais e que tem nos recomeços constantes na vida com os quais nos deparamos o seu tema maior [daí o título em inglês].

É um filme sobre a liberdade individual/pessoal e sobre a necessidade do amor em todas as suas formas - e como traumático pode ser o crescimento num ambiente onde este se ausentou por razões de preconceito e abnegação...

Com uma realização notável de Mike Mills e um trio principal em estado de graça e de uma espontaneidade desarmante é, desde já, um dos melhores filmes do ano!
